Most memorable homework was to make a parachute. I did a fairly basic one but another kid in my class just had a black bin bag and called it a parachute.

Well, one time I had to chew bread. Man that was tough.

Oh, and the time I got an A++ in English was pretty classic too.

Bad: do two full past maths exam papers, sections A and B. About 4 hours in total. I had to do that, for the next day. I, and quite a few members of my class, failed to do this, as we had BETTER THINGS TO DO, like coursework, and not a past paper. He didn't like this. My teacher could be a real twat. I'm happy I dropped maths after GCSE.

Good: A-level English language - research how technology has changed language. Meaning - play on ModWar2 for an evening, and listen to cocky 12 yearolds. And shoot said kids. Then, play BF2 for an evening. Again, make research, on how language has developed. Difficult, since other than my friends, few people (even in squads) talk. Still fun.

In an English Language course a while back I had to write a dialogue (half that class was English as a second language so they couldn't) in the form of an interview. I picked The Riddler being interviewed by his psychologist. I would've picked the Joker but I felt that the Riddler was more light-hearted. My teacher loved it.

Also I had to write an essay reviewing Stalin. Well his rule. But still...review a dictator. It was brilliant. I also got a 7/7 on it so I was very, very pleased on that.

However possibly the best was, write an Essay on anything. This was from my English teacher. Granted I don't remember what I wrote but I do remember having a blast. I loved it. The freedom was brilliant. Thats why I'm going to love my Extended Essay (same thing as above) and am loving my Historical Investigation (same thing...but from history).

Had to read 'Catcher in the Rhye' but simply couldn't process how much of an absolute cock-end the main character was. 'Intellectual individual' = 'Spoiled Brat'
Interesting book though, it's basically the main characters 180 page rant about how he screwed up life.

We had to Wright our daily routine in French.

Naturally I wrote a short story about a young man getting aids from his step-father with a drawing of a giraffe with a robots head at the bottom of the sheet.
It was all in French though.

in sociology i had to break social protocol and sit next to someone on the bus if it was just me and them. also for law, we were learning about police powers so i decided it would be fun to get stopped in the street by the police(don't ask me how i did this) and then i totally piss them off by asking for their name, station number, reason for being stopped and a recipt. good times lol

my science teacher put this question within the usual 10 questions we have to answer on a weekly basis: Who would win in a fight Mr. T or Sylvester Stallone?

The clear-cut winner is the Italian Stallion: Stallone. He may have lost once to Clubber Lang, but proceeded in defeating him to retain the World Heavyweight title in what i believe was Rocky 3.

That book was called Enders Game, and I loved it so much I read it 2 times the day we got it. By the third day I had a passing grade, and by the end of the semester I was at a B+. :)

Thank you, Enders Game, for being a kickass book.
What I say now may be completely irrelevant, but I agree; Ender's Game is kick-ass.

I remember when we had to 'answer homereading' in English on the next day, and I had only about 80 pages of the book read. I just sat down after school, and read for a few hours, and was finished. I'm usually a slow reader, but I was so absorbed in the book, so immersed and imagery of it was so vivid before my eyes that I read through the rest of the pages really fast.

So maybe that is my most memorable homework; to answer homereading. It's the only homework I actually enjoyed doing.

Actually, scratch that. It's not homereading, but English in general. Of course, it has its extremely boring homework, but it is, I shit you not, the only class in where we write essays, with real creative input.

One that got better than expected was, toward finals in college, I had my very first aura migraine on the day of the test. nevertheless, I got 60% (even though I was pretty much 75% blind at that point)
My favorite homework was in Astronomy Observation class, take the picture of a constellation with 25-35 exposition and much work around it :) (I got like 89% in that class)

English class:

Read X chapters of 'Of Mice and Men' for Thursday.

Me: Fuck that, this book is ass! Imma read the whole thing and just chill out during class.

So I did.

I've since changed my opinion of 'Of Mice and Men', having grown older and realised some of the deeper issues present, but when I was 14 I thought it was godawful.

HSC? As in the certificate issued by Cambridge?
Nah, It's the final year of high school for Australian NSW students, it's basically what gives you a mark to get into university.

Edit - What a pathetic 1000th post.
