I'm sure that there has been a plethora of simliar posts, but what is the most misleading piece of advertising that you have recently seen? I saw this ad a few months ago, but saw it again recently, it's very shadowy, urban environment, cutting between people holding up mirrors and shining beams of light. There was even a pretty good musical score if I can remember. Then as I'm waiting to find out what I'm watching, a movie trailer? A new game? Who knows? A cure for cancer? It says something like, "join the cause" And then "www.scientology.com" I was at least a little bit pissed, but I thought it was really amazing that it was so well done. So please, any similar experiences? Maybe you saw the same ad. And please no posts about Eveon, or whatever the porn advertised banner game was, unless we don't live in the same internet that shouldn't be surprising.
