Yeah, this is in regard to stupid, pointless, often hilarious warning labels such as "Warning, contains hot liquid" on a coffee cup.

Feel free to steer this towards whatever you want, be it funny stories or infuriating lawsuit arguments.

Have fun.

Anyway, here are 2 of my favourites:

1) (On a child's Superman costume) WARNING: Will not give user the ability to fly.

2) (On a pram) WHEN FOLDING, MAKE SURE THAT BABY IS NOT CURRENTLY INSIDE.

We should stop putting warning labels on things that are redicliously obvious, with the hope that anyone stupid enough to get themselves killed or badly injred by it will never had or have children; thus clensing the gene pool (hopefully) of anyone like them ever being born again...

Problem is, there's a method to this madness. Obviously, people who make ludicrous warning labels have been sued by idiots before.

On a Claymore - Aim at Enemy
How do you aim a sword?
Eh, He meant Claymore as in explosive satchel mine that fires shrapnel really fast if you walk into a laser sight/cause movement
You can aim mines now? I thought they just sat there and waited for some unsuspecting person to become an instant paraplegic.

If COD 4 isn't lying then claymores actually have a forward area to which the laser or movement sensors point, and where the shrapnel is thrown.

I recall one of the U.S army's anti tank weapons has 'point this end at target' or something similar. It may just be an urban legend though.

Only the claymore has the shrapnel direction. it uses a shaped charge to launch the metal in one specific arc. and, yes, it has writing on the front that says "this side towards enemy".

Anything that was designed for or by the US Military has an arrow on it indicating the safe/correct direction of use. That goes for the label "Front towards enemy" on the back of a claymore anti-pers weapon (as you see it when you place the thing) to anti-tank weapons to even the cups canteen (brew mug)...
