Most powerful video game character EVER

My choice would be Alex Mercer. You kind of lose the scope of his powers when fighting off hordes of zombies and such, until you realize that he can play yo-yo with Cobra attack helicopters, chuck cars a full city block and regenerate From A Single Cell. I can't think of a single video game character in all of history that could beat him in a fight.

Alright, I'm done, so what's your opinion? Also, try and give a reason for why your character rocks so hard, don't just put "dur, marcus fenix cuz he nvr dies hur hur lol."

I genuinely do not understand peoples obsession with Gordon Freeman as being powerful. Hes really not, hes just a dude in a hazmat suit with some guns? Hes not different or more powerful then any other character that is just a man.
Now if you want to talk powerful you need to move into mythological or magic. E.g. Kratos or every level 80 WoW character, the shit the tank has to put up with is insane.

I will say Scar from STALKER Clear Sky. He survives natural disasters that are the equivelent of a nuclear blast, and actually becomes more powerful afterward. That's pretty badass.

He's been hit with an Ion cannon, buried under a ruined nuclear missile bunker, disappeared for years at a time, subtly manipulate world governing bodies AND super advanced aliens, and inspire millions of people to do his bidding in crazy schemes that always work just how he wants them to.

I think Halo is a pretty cool guy, he kills aliens and doesn't afraid of anything. On a serious note I think L.O.G from Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts is the best video game character because he is the Lord Of Games. He can manipulate any other video game character's worldso no other video game character could stop him.

he's the most realistically possible powerful character. Sure I could say the guy that shoots laser beams from his eyes or chews on glass instead of tobacco. But not Freeman. Freeman uses his mind to combat puzzles while others go and blow them up. That's not real power that's just the ability do blow something up. I think real power is to combat your foes efficiently as possible. Which Gordon does.
