So which badges are the ones you are most impressed with? Which should you put as the four people see to tell them: "Yeah! I'm impressive!"?

I know the hard-to-get Forum Awards Badges are the ones I'm most impressed with. "Thanks", "Neo", "Forum Inferno" etc. Right now I'm content with how symmetrical and uniform my badges look with 4 of the most hard-to-get Zero Punctuation badges. It appeals to the OCD side of me.

I've always been impressed with 'Most Epic Poster', where they've gone 10,000 posts without incurring moderator wrath. Hell I'm only 100 posts in and I've already got a warning for an Oblivion Guard joke.

They are only awarded by the staff and are incredibly rare. One regular user won it in a contest years ago but I think only staff have it. You can get the pubclub version but it is significantly less awesome.

The judgement process and criteria for Ponyosity are not for mortal ears. Hell, not even we Mods know all the details. A select and secret few know the details and have threatened me with having my stomach kicked through my spine if I keep enquiring. Damn ponies. The only information I have that I will risk sharing is that The Escapist has a couple of idol-worship Pony figures. There may perhaps be one which is a re-moddled My Little Pony to have the Escapist E as its mark. I don't dare to imagine what sacrifices are needed at that table.

Something weird happened with the forum code and I had to pester Kross to finally give me mine earlier this year. I'm.. not sure what to think about having it. I've been here too damn long. Feel old.

Inferno isn't all that difficult. Most of the time it is a controversial one or a forum game. I have never seen a truly thought provoking thread that got the Inferno badge. Also, I should have my landmark next month, but sadly I didn't start posting until several months after I made the account. I think I will get mine in April 1st, 2012. Also, nobody will say how they got their "thanks" badge, but it must be something huge.

I love my Landmark badge personally, because it's the ultimate symbol of long term dedication(to the forums). It's a bit like a wedding ring now that I think about it.

Badges themselves don't impress me all that much. What I like is when I can form some kind of story through the displayed badges of a user.
