the original Halo had some great lines in it.

Such as on the level Trush and Reconciliation, one marine shouts as your touching down.

"How are we supposed to get into the ship if it's in the air, the corps issued me a rifle and not wings."

Or anything that comes out of Sargeant Johnson's mouth.

or the grunts in pretty much any halo game, because they are awesome. My friend still shout in grunt voices " THEY'RE EVERYWHERE" usually whenw e get surround in a game

I also find myself occasionally muttering quips from Team Fortress 2. Which might be bad considering ?I should have saved a bullet for some of you blokes? is one of them. Not good to say in the street.
I'm surprised that the Engineer hasn't been mentioned!

Castlevania: SOTN.

I can't stop myself from answering the question, "What is a man?" with "A miserable little pile of secrets!"

I forgot about this one. It's a meme now, goddammit!

Other quotes include 'And Kratos cast himself from the highest mountain in all of Greece', or 'LOOK AT YOU, HACKER'.

They're not as commonly used as TEH CAKE IS A LIE LOLOLOL, but they still are good.

(DON'T FORGET TO RELOAD DOCTOR FREEMAN)

House of the Dead: Overkill, hands down. Isaac Washington is one of the funniest characters ever written in a game.

That too.

"Hey Wild, this is a great game room and all...but do you think it needs anything else?"

Me: "Need a dispenser here!"

"Great idea! Whew, all this talk has made me hungry. You want anything to eat?"

Me: "Sandvich make me strong!"

Attaboy. I believe this is the correct answer

You wanna piece of me boy?!
Spawn more overlords!
You require more minerals!
You must construct additional pylons!

(If I got ANY of those slightly wrong, I'm going to punch my face)

"The symptoms most commonly produced by Enrichment Center testing are superstition, perceiving inanimate objects as alive, and hallucinations. The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak."

"The Enrichment Center reminds you that the Weighted Companion Cube cannot speak. In the event that the Weighted Companion Cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice."

Halo 3 and its multiplayer announcer. I tend to quote him a lot in other games.

"Double Kill.... Triple Kill..... Over Kill.... Shotgun Spree.... Killjoy"

I know that there are a lot of "favorite quote" type threads, but how about one about the game with the most quotability over all? What is the game that you always think of quotes for in various situations and even hear it said in the character's voice?

For me, it's got to be Star Fox 64. Whenever I need to help someone, all I can think of saying is, "I'm here to rescue you." Someone pisses me off? "See if I help you again." Someone surprises me? "You're not as stupid as you look." I want to do something on my own? "I'll go it alone form here." There are numerous other examples I could give, all from this game. Sometimes, random as hell ones will pop into my head that have nothing to do with anything except the fact that I just spaced out. You have no idea how many times I've snapped out of it and wanted to spout a whole series of Star Wolf quotes or a conversation or two from the game, or one that always pops up for some reason, "They're through the second line!" Luckily, I do generally manage to keep from saying them out loud...

So, what is it for you? What game has enough quotes, be them good, funny, or just memorable, to be your most quotable?

And remember, "You're good... But I'm better!"
"I CAN'T LET YOU DO THAT, STAAARR FOXX"

OT: Alistair from Dragon Age has some excellent quotable lines. Oghren's dialogue is sheer gold too.

Duke Nukem is almost cheating considering it borrows so many quotes from films like Army of Darkness, They Live! etc. (the "kick ass and chew bubblegum" line comes from the latter, for example.)

For me, it's Dawn of War. I'm rather prone to muttering Chaos Marine phrases under my breath at work, particularly, " I will flense the flesh from their bones!" and "blood for the blood god!"

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri would have to be mine. Not only were the quotes a staple for my friends and I, but the game introduced me to diverse fields of Philosophy. I will never forget:

"Richard Baxton piloted his Recon Rover into a fungal vortex and held off four waves of mind worms, saving an entire colony. We immediately purchased his identity manifests and repackaged him into the Recon Rover Rick character with a multi-tiered media campaign: televids, touchbooks, holos, psi-tours--the works.People need heroes. They don't need to know how he died clawing his eyes out, screaming for mercy. The real story would just hurt sales, and dampen the spirits of our customers."

Duke Nukem by far but the left for dead series aren't bad either.
