The larvae (Caterpillar) of the butterfly known as the large blue, upon realizing it's going to turn into a pupa, crawls into an ants nest and begins to develop it's pupa thingy.

It secrets a sugary substance which the ants eat off it for food or whatever, and in return the ants leave it alone, and protect it from intruders. Once the caterpillar has turned into a butterfly, if crawls back out of the nest and flies off. The end.
