Something tells me no one has mentioned this, but in that good old sourcemod Pirates Vikings and Knights II, the crossbow. Not sure if anyone in the thread has mentioned bows....but anyway, it made a lovely.....

I actually own a 454 casull revolver. It sounds like a damn cannon. Seriously, get a real gun people. Games downplay the significance of damage a gun can do to your ears. I fired a .45 caliber pistol without hearing protection and I nearly crapped myself in pain.
Guns are real; games are not realistic. Learn from reality not the posers.

Man, those .454's are like getting into a car accident every time you pull the trigger. On purpose. For FUN.

Most satisfying weapon I've fired in real life... My Deliah. Remington 700ADL in .30-06. Who is totally getting a new stock as soon as I decide on one and can afford it...


In games... I dunno. It's been awhile since I played an FPS... So I'm gonna go with the supressed 1911 in MW1. It whispered and got me way too many kills against my brother when we were split screening.

- Most guns in Bad Company 2 actually. A lot of them sound nice and deep. Pretty much all the sound effects in that game are amazing.
