It's been said several times already, but the twist in KotOR was one of the most skillfully executed I've seen. The reveal managed to be completely shocking, yet at the same time it made perfect sense when you reexamined earlier parts of the game and noticed all of the foreshadowing.

What is the most bizar, or unexpecited plot twist you have ever been confronted with.

Mine was in Bioshock, when it tunes out that Jack was a clone...er...whatever he was.
He's Gordon Freeman...0o

Anyways, I always though the plot twist in BS were....well, what's the word....Scooby-Dooby-Doo-ish...0o

You know, I'm starting to see why not a lot of people liked the second one.

I'm still getting over the ending of Braid.
Definitely. The normal ending where
you're the monster she's fleeing from
was startling enough. But when you've collected the 7/8 secret stars changing the course of the final chase sequence.
You catch her, and she fucking explodes.
Certainly left a lot of room for interpretation.

I would have to say the twist in Uncharted Drakes Fortune was kind of surprising. I don't want to say what it is though.

Erm, spoilers? I mean, I've played it, but some haven't.

OP: I like the KOTOR one. I won't say any more with fear of ruining it.
You are far kinder than the one who ruined it for me. That bastard...

Yeah, the KOTOR twist completely blew my mind at the time. Partly, that was because I hadn't actually played the game for a while and was literally at the point right before the reveal, so I loaded up the game, played for a few minutes and then was all "BWUH?!?". All the clues leading up to it make it less surprising if you're playing through it consistently, as was the case for my brother.

Dude, fucking, SPOILERS!

Just because you've beaten it, it doens't mean that everyone else has!

Anyways, back on topic...

The most surprising plot twist that I've ever witnessed has to be in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic when-

You find out that the Protagainist (i.e. YOU) is in fact the legendary Sith Lord Darth Revan, having been implanted with fake memories by the Jedi Council so they could use him to track down Darth Malak's secret lair after suffering from amnesia following Malak's betrayal.

Ooooh yeah, I still feel shivers run down my spine whenever I think of that moment...

Fear, when you find out your the son of the insane teenage psycho demon girl who's been chasing you the whole game.
Fear 2, when you find out the insane young adult psycho demon girl who's been chasing you is actually just horny and wants to rape you, which she does at the end. :p (you play as a different character to the first game, so no it isn't incest)

I imagine Fear 3's plot is going to be something like 'son of insane adult psycho demon girl wants to chase you and tell you he's your nephew' since the protagonist is going to be the guy from the first game :p

Yeah, that was out of nowhere, but the craziest to me was the end of inFamous. I mean, holy crap! That was great, and made me love the story ten times more. I'm surprised no one has mentioned that yet.
