Most useless character on television

You know, those characters that are in the main cast of a tv show but contribute nothing to the plot? Who do you think is the most useless?

My pick is Laurel Lance from Arrow. I fucking hate her. All she's good for is bitching and moaning. She adds nothing to the show other to be a pretty face (besides, everyone knows Felicity is hotter anyways).

Everyone on the walking dead who is not Rick, Glenn, Maggie, or Daryl.

Seriously, most of the characters are so fucking useless and stupid, and even the one who aren't useless are incredibly stupid and only survive because of plot armor. God I hate this show sometimes. I probably wouldn't watch it if I couldn't just binge it on netflix in a couple of days and then forget about its existence for the rest of the year.

They have trimmed a lot of the useless character recently and those who remain have grown the beard. E.g. Season 5 episode 1 Carol is one badass mofo.
