not just that...in the UK recently

A PREGNANT mother has been found guilty of sexually abusing children in her Southampton flat.

Now, Clair Winkworth, who has a three-year-old daughter, faces jail.

She was convicted yesterday of eight charges involving two boys and two girls after tempting them into sex games.

Remanding her in custody for reports, Judge John Boggis QC told her: ?This court has had to listen to the most disgusting things you did to these children.

?They were truly awful. You can expect a custodial sentence.?

Fair-haired Winkworth, wearing a blue tracksuit with yellow stripes on the sleeves, clenched her fist and grinned when jurors unanimously acquitted of her of sexually assaulting one boy who claimed he had had intercourse with her.

She threw back her head and sat open mouthed when the jury foreman announced the first of the guilty verdicts but then showed no emotion when she was convicted of the remainder on 10-2 majority verdicts.

Would you leave your child alone in a car? i wouldn't but this stupid @!?% did =___=

POLICE were called to a sick toddler left to sleep in a car while his mum was at a children's party, it has been revealed.

The two-year-old was asleep in the vehicle while the woman attended the party with another child.

Worried onlookers alerted Christchurch police after becoming concerned about the welfare of the youngster.

It is thought the child was being checked every 20 minutes or so.

An investigation has been launched and will be carried out by police and other agencies.

I saw this a few days ago. Jesus that is one lucky baby. And as for the pedophile that is disgusting. Expect "My faith in humanity is dead!" responses soon.

I think part of the problem is some people become mothers accidentally, when they're too young/immature or even they just don't have a clue about raising kids, so when they have their own they just can't care for them.

I think these things are hideous too, I've worked with kids and know how annoying and that they can be and would hate to have my own, but still. Nothing excuses this kinda behaviour. If you can't take care of your kids you should be taught. Or have them taken away.

The worst bit is, there are people like this who still look after their kids, and yet others get taken away from their parents, who are decent people who could care for them, for retarded reasons. And I hate to say this, but the UK is one of the worst for these kinda cock-ups.

It's a big fucking leap of logic to assume the things the OP talks about are even related. I'm not trying to be a douche, or even offensive, but some common sense should be in order.

Let's keep it real---there are bounds of reason.

To the first news, about the baby and the train, wow, that was amazingly lucky, I actually can't think of any other words to describe that. Also if there is a god, then it is obvious that he loves that baby and it's mother. On the other hand, the mother should be more careful, next time god might not be so forgiving.

For the second news, about the mum molesting her kids, well thats just awful, I mean it's not the first time it's happened, none the less it still angers me to see stuff like this.

For the third piece of news about the baby in the car, well that's just being neglectful. The mother deserves any Punishment given to her.

What exactly can be done? You can't stop some people from being horrible parents. And mothers aren't more careless these days. You just hear about the stupid ones more often.

i agree i think she needs a back ground check on her and if there are any other signs of neglect have her children taken away.

So...no, really: So?

C'm on. You are just taking that and making it up to be like there is some kind of phenomenon linking stupid mothers together, or something, when there is no such thing. There is no issue. It's just the fact of life that people sometimes do stupid shit(or purposefully heinous in one case), and sometimes some of them happen to be mothers.

Also, it's not happening way too much lately, you just happened to start paying more attention to it because the media happened to cover it more(and don't even get me started with the balloon family).

All you people don't seem to understand. Thats right, you people. You "omg, the world is decaying!" people.

Bad shit is not getting more common. News reports about them are. 20 years ago, you'd never hear about any of this. Nowadays, if a child gets molested in Morocco, its front page news from Singapore to New York. The media is shedding light on things that never used to get coverage.

most young people in the UK are just getting kids so the council will give them flats -___- or because ''she has one..'' and i guess its the same circle of events.if it was like that when they were growing up they aren't going to know any different.it makes me sad when people can't have kids these people are careless..

Fucking.
This.

Stop throwing ***** fits about how you think humanity's going down the pan, just because people have the ability to be stupid, negletful, careless, or abusive.

your getting weird with this -___-

I'm merely remarking on the amount of careless mothers there seem to be in this day and age, I wasn't suggesting there's some sort of phenomenon or conspiracy.

Which is why all adults like the quiet ones.

Anyway, I have to agree with you about the parents that are actually good, losing their children for stupid reasons, while the bad ones keep theirs.

A good example is a neighbor of mine. He had his grandfather come over, and his grandfather started smoking heavily inside, so he sent his child outside of the house with an older sibling (about 15 years old), and then this one asshole who attempts to do this with everyone in our town, takes pictures of the two sitting outside, then calls a few people, says a few things, illustrates how they must be so unloved if they have to sit outside....
And then he lost his children.

I saw the video on the almost-death by train.
That was some scary shit even though I already knew the kid was alright (they'd said it before showing the video).

As for your point: Nah, mothers aren't worse. There always were some shitty ones. It's just that we get to hear every story that happens anywhere on the world nowadays.

Look, from your original post I'm led to believe that you think that whatever it is that is happening "seems to be happening way too much lately," and that you think that "more should be done." So no, I don't think I'm going weird on you as there seems to be plenty of implications there.

Maybe I'm totally wrong(a real possibility), but can you see how the way you worded things lends itself to be taken the way I took it?
