Motion Plus

Very quick question here:

Does the Zelda: Skyward Sword game require motion plus?

I just pre-ordered the regular game, then I learn that there's this separate version with a gold wiimote plus thing. The guy at the store after a phone call told me that nothing on the package of the game says the wiimote plus is required.

I looked on the 'net in random searches and all I found were rumor news articles from back in '09 and '10 saying it may be required, that the requirement is not necessary, that you have to buy it with the plus gadget. There's no way for me to tell right or wrong right now.


So does anyone know? I need to figure this out by Sunday so I can go back and hopefully change my pre-order. That or just get a plus thing; whichever comes first.

Yes. And the combat is based around directional attacks, so it's not just arbitrarily required.

So what do you think? Should I mess around with the pre-order until it's for the bundle? Or wait until I get the game, find I need the damn thing, and get the motion plus thing by itself from Amazon? Or what?
