I have a PS3, but I can't play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for more than about 2 minutes. I get so physically nauseated that I have to lie down for a half hour, and the effect persists for days afterward. I'm feeling a little bit dizzy right now just thinking about it. But I can play Tomb Raider 3 on my old PC without any problem. The increased resolution or something just knocks me back.
So what CAN I play? I like turn based strategy stuff like Gal Civ, and I like abstracts like Chess, Hex, and Twixt. PS3 doesn't seem to be too big on Twixt. They won't even sell a Shogi engine outside Japan, apparently. (Shogi is Japanese chess.)
I like online servers like iggamecenter.com (realtime) and littlegolem.net (turn based.) Is there anyone here who shares similar interests, or are they mainly over at BoardGameGeek?
