Ehm, what would the joke be? Being offensive and being funny can overlap but just saying stupid shit like this isn't funny.

I wouldn't buy stuff like that. I see no point in it whatsoever and find it tasteless at best.

Wait, is it still "too soon" to joke about WW2? Surely humour is a positive step towards overcoming the worse parts of reality? Though this hasn't been funny since the 90s(or I was an immature little shit), but at least they're trying.
Also, here in the UK, we have a canned energy drink called "Pussy." So...yeah, the jokes are all prepared there to dive right into.

The whole "Hitler did nothing wrong" is as tired as tired gets, here's hoping people will move on to something different soon.

Also, concerning people discussing "4chan humour", I do not believe there is such a thing. The boards are way too different from one another for a single type of edgy humour to fit all of them.

I have never seen any Mountain Dew over here in Germany and even then there is no way in hell this would be sold over here. Not with that name.
The government would certainly put you on a special list just for buying a bottle.

How about a David Hasselhoff bottle? Think that'd work?

No, because it's not just a joke, there are people that actually claim this, or who look rather similar if you squint a bit.
The most uncomfortable feeling is when you're doing over the top racist caricatures with a group of friends, only to slowly come to the realization that one of them actually believes everything they're saying.

To be fair, Hitler did a lot of things right.

Nazi ideology is mostly right wing, therefore there's very little that he did left. And I'm sure most will look back and consider him a right-wing figure.

Stalin on the other hand, he did everything left.

For serious though, It could be pretty funny if done well enough. Tongue and cheek, over the top and so on, it could maybe work.

At the very least, it'd be refreshing from everything being committee approved and offending nobody.

More refreshing than Mountain Dew, anyway.

No thanks.

I'm well over 15 now, so the dumb 4chan-esque "jokes" aren't really funny to me anymore.
So how's 16 and 5/8's treating you?

OT: And I really have to agree with the slogan, Hitler literally did nothing wrong! He made Germany great again! He redistributed the wealth of the 1%'ers! And cut down on both overpopulation and greenhouse gas emissions! Advocated for the rights of animals! Enacted the groundwork for child protection laws! THe man was a tribute to the great sausage and cabbage in the sky!

So of course I would buy a case!

If the marketing team managed to get it out without the higher ups squashing it, and mountain dew came out with their newest refreshing flavor "Hitler did nothing wrong" I'd totally buy it, because why not I'd be happy some mega corp just said fuck it lets see what happens.

Talk about a Code Red! It's a real Live Wire to the point that it's just Pitch Black!! Then again, Pitch Black 2 is like breaking into a Baja Blast just to guzzle down that Game Fuel known [only] as the Supernova Voltage! Still, Hitler does give off that Throwback vibe that clearly screams "White Out" to the Electric Apple demographic! Regardless, the Sangrita Blast illuminates a Dewshine on the Black Label known as "unintended" intended racism!

Other than that, I know, at times, you want to cater to a small demographic, but not like this! :p

What is a David Hasselhoff?
I'm sorry. I was invoking a trope. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff] If you weren't aware of this one, I understand.

Yeah and... I knew a guy who was very much into the 'lol Hitler did nothing wrong IT'S FINE I'M BEING IRONIC!' thing. Turned out he had very disgusting views on black people and immigrants (muslims especially), and had no trouble acting on them and being violent.

He had a very real fascination on Hitler and this sort of thing let him mask it as 'it's just a joke'

I wouldn't buy it, no.

Damn, everyone saying no seems to just think the worst of people...I just can't see what is so wrong with the - ABSOLUTELY TRUE - phrase "Hitler did nothing wrong".

You know, at this point I kind of perceive Hitler as basically a Genghis Khan or Attila the Scourge of God, i.e. people who were part of that era are quite dead now and WW2 needs to be moved to "ancient history" and not milked to death by pop culture
