Ok, so it's the first of November and I have joined legions of men in having shave, to grow a mustache, for good causes http://www.movember.com/.

Are any of you going to be joining in, whether to raise money or just grow an awesome mustache?

If you have done already, how does it feel?

Personally, living in a cold and windy England, I feel a little exposed.

But as it stands, all I can manage is some sexy stubble before everything starts going pear shaped.

Yeah I do grow one I don't get laid so no.

Also I despite being 26 I can only grow a mustache the rest is still patchy. Sigh... will I ever finish puberty?

Personally, I won't be doing Movember, purely because I've been growing my beard for 2 months already.

Quick little "Movember" anecdote... During my Australian Army basic training, we had a Japanese guy in your platoon named Ding. Recruit Ding. He was a great bloke too. In order to help the platoon learn the phonetic alphabet, we would all line up in the hallway and call out each letting in turn. Ding was the 14th person in line, so he was the letter N. N in phonetics is November. However, poor ol' Ding couldn't pronounce N's. They come out as M's. So, every time we did this exercise, Ding would tell out "Movember". Not even the Secco's could hold their shit together.

I would if I could but it would take me the entire month to grow anything noteworthy and the product would be a very pitiful and filthy... thing. No thanks, I'll stick to shaving.

Actually, I might do this. Just for the hell of it.

I don't like shaving and this is as good an excuse as any.

Haven't had facial hair since I was nineteen. Back then I could grow a beard just fine but the old mo' left something to be desired. I wonder if that's changed.

I can't stand the stage where the hair is just long enough that the tips are curled round and touching the skin. It itches like a ************.

I'll keep my chin goatee, but everything else gets shaved. I can't stand a full beard, it gets quite painful. Damn sensitive skin.
