That kid in Alpha Dog.

I hadn't known at the time that it was based on true events, but the scene itself was just...horrifying. It truly made me sick and now I dislike that film.

Donna Noble is my favourite companion of all time and they chose the worst possible way to get rid of her. Granted she's not dead, but she might as well be.

She and her grandad will be back for David Tennant's last two stories at Christmas. If they don't give her a happy ending I'll gut them.

Rorschach at the end of Watchmen
Thanks, jackass. Couldn't you have put that in a spoiler?
dude spoiler your post too
I don't have any spoilers in my post. And as for my OP, it IS in a spoiler.
dude you quoted my post regarding watchmen and left it unspoilered, I spoilered your OP when I quoted it telling you to spoiler it, lest I defeat the purpose of my post.
Fair enough, but notice that if you had simply spoilered it in the first place, it wouldn't be an issue at all.

Describe the scene for me
Let's see...I'll type what I remember.

The basic story is that a little brother of a man who owes a drug dealer money is kidnapped by said drug dealer and his men. After a week of having the boy named Zack(and by this point Zack is actually used to being in their company and has actually become quite close to the gang of thugs, same for them, to the point of friendship) in desperation, the leader orders Frankie(one of the ones closest to him) to kill the boy.

Zack is driven to the foot of a cliff, he is laughing and talking with the two guys that are with him. He asks where they are going, but they do not answer. As he walks, he slowly realises what is about to happen, and begins crying, and pleads with the two men to spare his life. When they get to the top of the cliff, Frankie begins to get tears in his eyes, and asks Zack to trust him, and to let him tape his mouth shut.

While this happens, the other guy hits Zack in the back of the head with a shovel, making him fall into a hole, and intending to knock him out. It doesn't work, which leads Frankie to slowly raise an uzi to shoot Zack with, which makes Zack give out a muffled scream before he is killed.

P.S. You see the bullets go through him. That is what made the scene that much worse.

I just think that something like that is just horrible make into a film, imagine how the family must feel knowing something like that is out there.

Serenity

Wash. WHHHHY!!...well, so everyone knows that the ending of the movie has no safety net and all the protagonists could die (and almost do)

Gran Torino

Walt...the entire movie is spent turning him from being a racist grumpy asshole to a more likable racist asshole to an almost good guy...and he sacrifices himself so some gang punks go to jail for a few years (who may have done worse crimes they never get accounted for). Even in films, the world can be hard and unfair :(

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance

God, so awfully gruesome. Within a few minutes, the only two innocent characters of the whole movie die pretty much needlessly in a sad and painfully sober way.

Grave of the Fireflies

EVERY. SINGLE. DEATH. So sad :'(

...oh, and the Main Deaths in Donnie Darko, although they are pretty manipulative if i think about it.

EDIT: ARGH! CANNOT FIX SPOILER TAGS!
EDIT 2: Okay, done
