Movie suggestions?

So, I played Dead space a while back, and I REALLY liked the atmosphere of the game, first time playing that type of game, and I saw Movie Bob mention Event Horrizon as a movie that would be the same as if Dead space made a movie, and I REALLY liked the movie. Unfortunatly Im really bad at finding other things similar to movies/books I already liked. So does anyone know any movies like Event Horrizon or just even have the same suspense factor (Like The Village and Signs.)

If you're open minded and are looking for scifi, you may like Pandorum, a scifi that came out in september of last year.

I personally thought it was fucking awesome, but a lot of people flat out despised it.

I thought it was a great concept and very well done so I'd recommend it.

Orphan had a suspense factor, considering it was a thriller. I really enjoyed it. It isn't Sci-Fi though.
