I didn't get that either. I also didn't get why he swears, and people hated it, but Yahtzee swears like a drunken sailor and slips implied racism into his videos and people are in hysterics.odubya23 said:

Really, in terms of what makes me laugh out loud the most consistently, I'd say Unskppable stands above ZP and Escape to the Movies. Yes, it's probably the most banal out of the three because the other two are attempting to critically review something while Graham and Paul are just going for laughs. But my roomate must think I'm some kind of nut case when watching Unskippable, so much do I laugh.
While ZP may have declined in quality a little bit, he's made over 100 videos, so we've certainly gotten used to his brand of humor by now. But I think Yahtzee really is an objective and interesting reviewer, and a model comedian to boot.
Word to whoever first said that they take Movie Bob's recommendations to heart more than Ebert's. Ebert is a great reviewer too, but he's obviously paid to read into movies on a deeper level, and sometimes I feel like he indulges his own artsy analysis at the cost of speaking to the common movie goer. Movie Bob is insightful too, but his language is still directed to the Escapist crowd, so he's easier to follow and yet still very perceptive. The Fawful references don't hurt his case either.
