Moving Avatar

Tallyho there fellow escapists. I have but a simple question and I will remove this thread once it is answered (I think I can do that, never tried.) Anyways, I have a dilemma. You see that picture of sonic the hedgehog? Yeah, that should be moving. Can anyone tell me how to get it to do that? it's in .gif format now and I assumed that would mean it would move when I uploaded it but no such luck apparently.

If it's on your pc, try uploading it to photobucket and then upload it as your avatar using the url option.

Is it a different size than your avatar?
Resize it.

yeah I tried that after I came back an hour later and the .gif still wasn't moving, so i put it on photobucket and linked it and that's what you're seeing now. Does it usually take a really long time to process it or something?

Only problem I can think of is an easy mistake to make when saving the gif after making it.
But I know that may only apply to GIMP users, as I don't use other programs.

Here is should work for you now.
Just put the image URL into the option for it, or you can directly save to your computer and then upload.

As for me,i do my avatars yourself,for it i use Video Avatar.There you can choose a video formats, and make the gif.It's really good program.Try.
