Ok, moved recently and such, but I couldn't take my computer (long story). But I'm wondering if I can have my iTunes from that computer moved to another. If I can, is the process simple like importing a XBL Gamertag? Or do I simply plug in my iPod into the new computer and all my songs are transferred like that? Or am I doomed to have my iPod stuck as is?

Only the songs you purchased are moved, not the ones you may have gotten off a cd or downloaded.

Well, you connect your iPod, and there should be an option to transfer PURCHASES, so if you have CDs, you have to put those on manually.

Well, there goes 40% of my library. (10% being bought, 50% being umm, 'other')

Google for ipod ripping freeware. It isn't illegal to use it, and it will let you transfer your songs from the ipod to the pc.

People seem to be missing the simple option. Itunes allows you to steam all of your songs to other Itunes on a shared network. All you have to do it setup a sharing network.

I can transfer all the music I want from the 5 computers in my house. As long as they are on.
