Now I recently (like, 10 minutes ago) got Firefox. So I tried to watch a music video on youtube and it said I needed to download Adobe Flashplayer. I did and yet it still says I need to do it. Can someone tell me why god has forsaken me?

Did you install flash?

It might sound stupid but it always helps to check.

If you did, try restarting the computer.

I'm no expert, but I didn't have any problems when I downloaded all the plugins to the firefox folder.

It does that sometimes. Ctrl+F5 usually works. I'm tempted to believe it's a problem with YouTube as much as (if not more than) Firefox, 'cos it's giving me a lot of trouble on Google Chrome tonight.

Maybe you should do a virus check to make sure it's not one of those preventing downloading success... just a suggestion!

I know what the issue is. go here [http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html] and scroll down to where it says "Download and unzip Install_Flash_Player_10_ActiveX.zip."

Do that.

It should work just fine after that.
