This is a slightly different kind of topic, and I hope it doesn't come off as advertising. It's just something that gave me a bit of a warm fuzzy feeling, knowing there are these kinds of people still out there. The post I am linking you to is a blog from a former Masterchef contestant that I've been following for a long time.

This place, called Mulligan's Home, is basically a foster home for kids who are gay, bisexual, transgender, or just plain unwanted, abandoned by parents and foster families alike. The post explains it a lot more, but the gist of the home is to take kids and give them a family of tolerance until they turn 18 and are ready to face the adult world. They do have a place for donations, as the blog post explains, but that's not my purpose for posting it. I just want to spread awareness of this place, as I feel it is the best way for me to contribute to such a place. In addition, showing that there are still decent people making the world a better place to the best of their abilities is hopefully a nice breath of fresh air.
