OT: I use Metacritic. they suck bawls at reviewing/rating games, but it does help with deciding which version is best; that, and I'm lazy.

Hows that going to start a flame war? first off i said in most cases

second just read what devs say about coding games for the systems in question, then look at video comparisons between systems.

that list there is a fairly accurate account of the quality of multi platform games, not 100% true but certainly a good guide and im sure most would agree with me.

as for meta critic it's a complete false economy, i wouldn't trust anything on that site

It... I don't even know. I have Dragon Age, Darksiders, the Assassins Creed games, and a few others on my PS3, and another somewhat random assortment of games on my 360. I generally use my xbox for more shooter-type games, and the PS3 for more RPG/adventure type games, although I do have the ME series on the xbox 360.

If it's on PC, I get it for PC. If it's not on PC, but is on PS3, I get it for PS3. If it's not on PC or PS3 I don't buy it because I sold that badbox years ago.

Let me add to my question: for those who defer to the PC, (and please don't take this the wrong way; I'm not challenging your choices or flaming why would you? I mean, it just doesn't make sense to me; is it not a chore to have to constantly spend money upgrading your machine in the HOPES of being able to play the latest and greatest games and/or the same games that are on consoles? I understand there's a lot more flexibility in several arenas on the PC, and of course the PC itself has more functionality beyond gaming, but having to pick up a new game and, before entertaining the thought of an impulse purchase, having to flip it over and check off a list of PC requirements would be frustrating, especially for someone who can't afford to put $6000 into a uber-gaming tower.
