Multi-Screenin' It

Having recently come into possession of a nicely-sized, HDMI-compatible TV, I had a thought; what is required for multi-screening with a computer?

My laptop does have a dedicated HDMI-out port, it has a dedicated graphics card (NVIDIA GEFORCE 8600MGT), dual-core processor, etc., and the TV appears to be compatible.

I just don't know how to make it work or if it will with my laptop.


Someone here must know.

You're set for a basic dual screen set up. Just plug in and you're set. Win 7 is great for dual screen tech.
