So I made this thread just after getting off from playing the Battlefield 3 Beta. I had some teammates who were so incomprehensibly bad. Like, I swear, one of them couldn't tell the difference between blue (ally) and orange (enemy). I literally wanted to hurt myself after that. I guess it reminds me of why I'm getting the game for co-op lol

So, has anybody else had utterly nightmarish multiplayer memories like that, where you were just point in situations that you couldn't comprehend what was going on, if they were so unimaginably bad, stupid, or anything else? Has anybody dared the wasteland of competitive multiplayer in any game and severely wish they hadn't?

Well I can see where they are coming from... Sometimes if you turn a corner and a dude is right there, it isn't immediately apparent that they are your team, especially since all the shows they are your team is a small waypoint. I've mistaken friends for enemies many times.

OT: Nowadays, almost every Call of Duty match I play. Mostly the older ones, since they are plagued with hackers.

I myself have emptied a tonne of ammo into allies in the BF3 Beta when they kept shining their tac-lights at me. Press "T" to turn it off idiots! I also regularly ran out of ammo and no Supports seemed to be dropping supplies. There are always tons of medic packs but never any ammo. I figure once the game goes gold there will be more Battlefield Players and less people getting a freebie and playing like it is CoD. The choice of map didn't help, but I still like Operation Metro and the Rush game. I just prefer Conquest.

My personal multi-player horror story would be anytime I tried to play Counter Strike. I just don't have the reflexes for CS, I would suffer round after round of frustration.

No. I mean people that are truly THAT stupid. I'm not talking about not knowing if they're good or bad. They're clearly members of the enemy team, clear as day. Like oh say, shooting you repeatedly. And the fact that they're gunning down your teammates is a good sign. And generally, when gunfire is going off, there is a conflict, so you might wanna turn your head around to see what it is.

Yes, that stupid. The kind that makes people disbelieve in evolution.
