Multiplayer ignorance

Done before, but this is specific to online multiplayer stupidity.

We all have those moments.

That one guy in your MMO group who can't tank/heal/DPS for shit, or ninja-loots that one item you deserve without question.

Maybe it's that medic in the FPS who fails to see you need a revive, maybe a sniper teamkilling you when you're miles away from the nearest enemy.

My first entry - I was literally 5 minutes ago accused of being an eBay'd priest in WoW simply because I had forgotten how long it takes to clear The Nexus on Heroic (20 minutes if you're really fast), and no one believed me when I said I have a sleep disorder (I do, so shut up).

*Sigh* This makes me feel like I've wasted my entire life... When running OS (in WoW) and the DPS, with fairly decent gear, can't break 2k DPS. Seriously guys, there are guides all over the internet to tell you how to play your class! Take a second to read before raiding!

Being accused of camping on cod 4 and MW2 despite the fact that i am running around the map with cold blooded/UAV jammer and a shotgun in laps. Really, how the hell can i be a camper if i am on the move alot and am constantly ambushing people?

And people who fail to see the fact that sniping is made for camping. You are supposed to wait in a good location to suppress the enemy and pick off kills patiently. Not charge around a map trying to snipe on the move, then complaining that the sniper is hard to use at close range.. (yes, some people have said that)

It just makes me so mad sometime when I'm on my shaman, and I finally see the loot drop that I need, quickly type /roll, hit a 99 and then 2 seconds before I get my loot a freaking pally decides that he wants my axe and rolls a 100. Not a fun day.

There was this one dude in my old clan in cod4 that didn't like my defensive strategy we were going to try out in an upcoming scrim... So he showed the other clan the strategy, play by play for each map, and then quit to join them afterwords...

They still lost though, so this is more of a funny story than it is a horrid one..

Best part was when they kicked him out the minute i brought up "If he was so quick to screw us over, what makes you think he won't quickly do the same to you?"

Thus I suddenly received Xfire spam from guess who...

Left for Dead 2, just now me and my split-screen teammate were doing the best of the Survivors on the Carnival level.

One of the others dies right out of the gate, and then the fourth kills me on purpose while we were alone. He then threw his Boomer Bile on my teammate, and he was completely ripped apart in the process. Thankfully the traitor got his just desserts, as he was accosted by a charger, smoker, and hunter all at the same time.

Icing on the cake: after this stupidity, the two of us were booted! WTF!?

I played Left 4 Dead once, 2 other guys joined in the second guy got voted to be kicked by the first guy, then the first guy blamed me. Then they both killed me, real fun.

I'd have to say it's the lemmings in team based games that piss me off the most.

They see someone on your team get killed and think "hey, I can totally take the guy who killed him," so they rush in, and die. Then they respawn and think "I think I can get him this time," rush after the same guy, and die again, on the same spot, in the same way. And they keep going back, losing your team more and more points.

I met one of those once.

I just kept killing him and killing him and killing him...

On Topic: I'd say anyone who decides to go Rambo, and fails.

Uncharted 2 co-op. Occasionally, I get paired with someone who's just worried about their score instead of healing a teammate. So, I'm dead and waiting to be respawned and the twit who didn't heal me dies, and we fail the mission and have to start over.

The damn Rep Pallys tnaks that I keep getting grouped with in random dungouns. Then they blame me when the die so fast (priesly healer here).

Not quite the same thing, but I get annoyed when I'm playing co-op on Guitar Hero and I get stuck with someone who is playing on Easy and still fails every song miserably. Another annoiyng thing is when I try to get them to use star power at the same time I do so we can get bonus points, yet no matter how many times I activate it they just won't do it.

Yeah, I don't really play many other games online *shrugs*

same here. The funny thing is that you probaly will get a higher score if you heal your teammates.

My favorites are the guys who play as Medic offensively in TF2 just because their health regenerates.
