So I just hit level 100 yesterday on Gears of War 3. I admit I played it a hell of a lot, but the game hasn't even been out a month yet. Actually I am already getting tired of it. New maps may rekindle my interest, but I feel as though I have already used each weapon extensively.
Now I feel games like Black Ops can hold my attention much longer. I think its the fact that there is a multitude of weapons, attachments, and class setups to experiment with. I have put in about 35 days and there is still weapons I've hardly used.
Which shooters do you seem to be able to play hours on end and never get tired of it, and which ones don't and why?
