Mundane Life Lessons

What are some of your favourite mundane life lesson that you know? Something that's kind of useful but not life-changing in anyway. Like "righty tighty, lefty loosey" for screws.

So just a few days ago I learnt a double bed mattress will easily and effectively fit a king single, but not the other way around.

After going through trials straight out of a Greek epic to get my room in order. I'm trying to live my life by the rule of "Regular cleaning sessions are better than shoving things into your closet and then ignoring them for seven years.".

It's a rather tough lesson to keep following.

Do not cut blood supply to your legs by resting your elbows on your knees while on your computer because you might be told to go do X and will try to stand and walk with your legs asleep and you will fall and hurt yourself...

No seriously though...hmm...Why do today what you can put off tomorrow? - the philosphy that I live by.

But what is today but yesterday's tomorrow? - the philosphy I wish I could live by.
