There is always Osu! which is a free open source version Elite Beat Agents (can't remember the original Japanese name):

Making your own beatmaps can be a bit tricky and/or time consuming but you can always download others from the official site.

There is:

Symphony

Soundodger+

in addition to Audiosurf, and Beat Hazard. Thats just what I own. Im sure there is more, but I dont have a lot of them.

There is also Kickbeat, but I havent played that one.
Dude, thanks for introducing me to Symphony. It is literally the customization music/soundtrack game that I have been looking for a long time. I can't wait to download this!

OT: For playing your own music on the go, I always had my trusty Phase on hand. This relatively easy and straight forward game allowed you add you own playlist of tracks and the game automatically created a level for your music. There were different difficulties and only the most devoted and nimble were able to master their favorite tracks using only the iPod Wheel.

It's a shame that this game was discontinued and I can no longer get my old playlist back.

Audiosurf and Beat hazard are the ones that i enjoyed the most, actually i was looking for something like that today and didn't find anything that would interest me more than those two, perhaps 'Symphony', but Beat hazard seems to be better.

Yeah, I was going to mention Vib Ribbon and Mojibribbon.

You can use your own music tracks in Mercury Hg, but that's purely a cosmetic change.

I think most of the obvious ones have been mentioned - not sure if some of the Dance Central style games allow imported tracks?
