Exactly. I can't explain how much my music taste extended since I started using last.fm

The Derek Trucks Band.
Clapton and Dillon have claimed him as the best guitarist in the world.
Brilliant blues/jazz/soul/world music.

My newest favorite band is "Reel Big Fish". They're like... punk/ska. I also like "The Expendables" and "Strapping Young Lad"
if you're into 3rd wave Ska like that check out Less than Jake and The Mighty Mighty BossTones
and to a lesser extent Goldfinger, for a more punky sound.

I've been listening to; Neutral Milk Hotel, Modest Mouse, Pavement, LCD Soundsystems and other stuff like that; Cookies if you can suggest stuff I havn't heard of.

Yeah Radiohead isnt always very accessible. But i'd still recommend you to get the album: "Ok computer" You might wanna have some patience with it and give it a listen every now and then and it'll grow on you.

Seconded. The Prodigy really went back to their roots (90's house) with a delightful modern sauce poured over it. (hard bass)

Definetly worth a listen.

I would recommend Tubular Bells, hergest ridge, ommadawn, amarok, and music of the spheres from the musician Mike Oldfield, but that might not be what you (or anyone else on earth) is looking for.

Failing that, heard much of Frank Zappa? Joe's Garage, Shiek Yerbouti and Thing-Fish are definately worth a listen
