I see stuff like Dupstep, Techno and Extreme Metal's many subgenres as noise... that's not to say I don't enjoy some of that last one, but it is still noise. Just noise I like to listen to.

Anything similar to this is something I'd call noise and I mostly listen to metal. Well metalbands that have a singer that can sing? In my opinion growling ruins a song.

A lot of modern hip hop for me. It all sounds like the same beeps and autotuner, with no discernible quality.

Album got a 10/10 from Pitchfork. Totally deserved it. Just came out yesterday.

You know... other than actual noise music, I don't consider anything to be noise. Sure, there's stuff I don't like, but that doesn't mean it's noise.

Surely all music is just noise, all music is at its basest level is a collection of sounds and noises that have been produced by hitting certain things against other things. Sometimes it sounds better than others. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's just "noise".

I'm not sure how people can call Hip Hop noise, my response would always be, "no, I can show you some noise".

There's a difference between noise and music you don't like.
