I hate country and western, but thanks to FalloutNV, I've really grown to love Marty Robbins' "Big Iron".

All my life I also thought I hated metal, but now I'm discovering symphonic black metal thanks to Dimmu Borgir, and it turns out I like it a lot.

I've so far not found any exceptions to my hatred of hip hop though. Except maybe New Zealand hip hop, but that's just because it's really funny in a Kiwi accent.

I'm not even sure what genre this is, I probably hate it though, all I know is that I can't stop listening to this song.

Absolution by MUSE is the best example of an album I love from a band I should hate. Foo Fighters is a good example of a band I should hate. Other examples include Metallica (first four albums excluding Master of Puppets which I think we can all agree is shit), Nazareth, Sweet, and a lot of other 80's shit. I'm mostly a 70's and 90's prog guy so it's given that I have most of the 80's and a lot of Alt rock, but hey good music is good music. Also while I don't enjoy listing to them, I do have a soft spot for shitty pop artists like Lady Gaga and Ke$ha just because their music is fun and easy to play.

Probably reggae. I always thought it was boring, but after actually listening to it, I realized that it is ridiculously catchy. It also has good messages, especially if you like weed...

I think I should hate LIGHTS because she's totally a cute pop-star in the vein of Katy Perry or something. But DAMN she is good at what she does. And she can go acoustic and her voice is heavenly... she is making me swoon like I'm some little girl and its demeaning!


OMG! she's so cute and I love all her music!
