Hello escapist:)
Music is a part of our life and mostly it plays the main role in our life. Some people listen to music to get inspired, to sleep, to forget something... Others just listen.
So what is your the only one favorite music and what it gives you?

This is my favourite artist, and probably my favourite song by her (though it fluctuates).

Listening to music is even more of a hobby for me then gaming. The first thing I do in the morning is put up music and I'll be listening for most of the day. I'm also constantly looking for more songs and artists.

And, welcome to these boards, I hope you'll enjoy your stay.
If you want to embed your videos (like I did up there) you can use [ youtube=x ] (without the spaces), where x would be the part after v= in the youtube link (b04ShbtaNnc in your case)

A beautiful and hopeful farewell, glowing like a pilot light through very dark days and nights. I'll probably never understand how some people managed to persevere to the bitter-sweet end of that war, but I'd wager it was things like this that helped when they were fighting for their very existence.

My favorite artist and song changes on a weekly basis, but as of now it is this.

Imma take a guess it's about some guy you likes a girl but she doesn't like him back. The lyrics are not the best, but the last minute or so is really awesome vocal and instrument wise.

I know it's stupid but I've actually cried listening to this song:

It's not like it's an emotional song or anything, it's just so many memories of my heavy rave days came flooding back and I remembered how happy I used to be and how bad life is now.

I just want to go back to those candy coloured days of phat pants, kandi, glowing colours and happy people. The safe magic bubble where we all forgot what was outside to have the most fun humanly possible. The sea of smiling faces and silly people, coming joyfully together. The night where the strangers you meet are friends the next day. Where hugs are the way to apologize and dancing was our voice.

I still get goosebumps from this track and I've been trying to find a vinyl copy for awhile now.

The Stone Coyotes are one of my favourite bands. I don't do itemised lists very well, and my favourites change routinely, but this is sort of good for the season, so it's been in my mind.

To be fair, none of their lyrics are all that awe-inspiring. Doesn't mean it can't be catchy. :D

OT: Kinda like Elfgore my preferences generally fluctuate depending on how I feel.

Overall, I can safely say that
is my favorite song ever, though I'd be hard-pressed to define exactly why.

Right now, I've been really digging the new A Day To Remember album. It's the only one besides For Those Who Have Heart where I'd say I just unabashedly love almost all of the songs on the album, whereas in the past they've been pretty hit-or-miss and I'd end up liking only one or two of the 'poppier' tracks and then the three or four heaviest songs and not much else. But from Common Courtesy, the only song I don't really care for is "Best of Me".

Honestly, I have no idea why I prefer this song over Jimi's more "energetic" stuff (think Voodoo Child, Purple Haze, Hear My Train a' Coming), but damn, listening to that always manages to put a smile on my (mostly) cold and emotionless face.

Oh, and because I'm in a generous mood today, I'll give you another one for free.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to get emotional after listening to this, especially if you've finished Dark Souls and know about the whole backstory....
