Don't confuse the title; I don't mean make a musical out of a game, like the Phoenix Wright one in Japan (which looks totally sweet, by the way). I mean, could a game itself be a musical? I don't count rythym games in this (perhaps Parrapa the Rapper could count, but I think that's a stretch), since the majority of them do not have a plot.
Let's, say, turn the Phantom of the Opera into a game. Instead of singing the songs as they are normally in the musical(played as a regular rythym game), there could be a key moment to decide how the music should flow, which could completely change not only the song, but the game entirely.
Just a random thought I had. Your thoughts?
