ITT: Post bands/songs that you like, but wouldn't really want anyone knowing about. Or bands/songs that aren't your taste, and you would normally hate, but for some reason you like.
I can't be the only person with some of these.

I love metal and death metal, but for some reason i find some of the Pet Shop Boy's stuff really catchy and awesome. I also really like Pendulum.

I really enjoy some stuff off of Avenged Sevenfold's City of Evil album. I can't stand their stage personas, their singer's voice is absolutely terrible, and their fans are...well...unique, but they've written some pretty awesome songs.

I don't hide it from anyone, but people find it weird that AFI is one of my favorite bands, considering my other favorite bands are Children Of Bodom and In Flames.

My favorite bands can be put into three categories: 80's thrash metal, progressive metal/math metal (kind of similar of you ask me), and pop-punk. Yeah, the pop-punk is my guilty pleasure. Green Day, Blink-182, and The Offspring are the main three in that category.

Guilty Pleasure?

I truly enjoy Dragonforce. And listen to somne of my sister's "power pop" occasionally.
But it was a fair trade, because I got her hooked on Trapt.

I have a CD of the top pop hits! Oh the shame! The shame of it all!

However, luckily I can't stand the damn thing now. Why anyone likes Rhianna is a mystery to me. If I was trapped in a room with nothing to listen to but her songs (and I'm forced to listen) I'd probably have a brain aneuryism.

Panic at the Disco. No, not Panic! at the Disco, Panic at the Disco. I like their new folk-y sound, but my friends still associate PatD purely with the insufferable main fanbase.

I'm, as a general rule, not embarrassed about any music I listen to. To me, if it sounds good and I enjoy it, it shouldn't matter who wrote the song, how popular they are to some, or how hated they are to others. In terms of guilty pleasures, I don't have any at the moment. The closest I get would be the Vitamin Records' String Quartet Tribute to Paramore which is excellent. Why be embarrassed about liking something?
