Is that a popular belief? that robots are remote-controlled by humans?

If you watch the videos it's clear that it's not robots communicating with people, it's humans talking over mic. The responses are too fast, all of the robots have different voices, the speech stumbles in the way that humans do but wouldn't make sense for an AI. Everyone who interacted with the robots could tell it was fake.

If robots like this are going to work in the future it'll be Boston Dynamics that makes it happen, not Musk.
