I wouldn't bother with Killzone, myself. I thought it was a waste of money. But regardless, you should get LBP1/2, Uncharted games, Bayonetta, Valkyria Chronicles and Resonance of Fate. That's all I can think of right now, though.

Try Folklore. It's a sort of bizarre real time action/Pokemon/mystery/Celtic mythology mash-up exclusive to the PS3. It should be pretty damn cheap by now.

I'm buying a PS3 on the 17th/18th when I get paid, what are the must have games to buy for Playstation?

You know I can think of so many decent games for PS3 that are exclusive... but none that I can really say get me excited or feel are unique.

Hmm.

Uncharted, Drake's Fortune game, that was something special come to think of it. It just had such a slow start, but it really picks up as it goes on and has a really good payoff for the ending, which is important for how cinematic the game is. You could say in ways it is better than Uncharted 2.

I've heard a lot of raving about Infamous, but I still haven't played it yet. It's free on PSN, get it when you can, it's definitely the best free game on that list.

The Shoot.
A really good rail-shooter, though a fanciful concept ant you need the Move Suite, it is actually really well structured with how it awards points with multipliers based on successive ACCURATE shots. The multiplier resets every shot you miss and you have to dodge incoming projectiles, it really is the most fun I have had with any sort of rail shooter.

Pixeljunk Shooter
Haven't played much of this but this 2D space shooter has just got that polish and consistency of theme that I love.

3D Dot Game Heroes
Even though a blatant Zelda rip off, it's still darn good.

Uncharted games

I do not see why they are so popular.

Uncharted 1 at least start slow and conservative. I played Uncharted: DF back in 2008, got bored of it in 15 minutes and gave up. Where it lay in a box for literally another 2 years before I picked it up again.

But you know what, the game has got hidden depths that slowly SLOOOOOWLY reveal themselves, but you know this is kinda good as just when with any other game I'd be interminably bored it is mixed up with a while new element like bad-guys with lasers sights that insta-kill you with one shot... but you know when they are aiming at you.

And other REALLY COOL elements that I really cannot go into without setting off major spoiler alarms.

In general the game doesn't pick up until the end of the 1st act. Which is annoying if you don't force yourself that far.

Uncharted is a game that starts off like a cheap TV show and ends up like a classic Indiana Jones movie in terms of quality and scope.
