So I just finished the MW3 Single Player. Playing on recruit and not really bothering to collect intel, I was just wanting to get to the ending.

For people who need a reminder, click the spoiler. If you have not played the game and dont wish it to be spoiled. DONT click the spoiler button and DONT read anymore of the comments. I don't want any people complaining that I didn't give them any spoiler warnings.

So, after you basically stop WW3 by rescuing the Russian President, letting him to make peace with his enemies. Price and Yuri storm the hotel Makarov is in wearing massive juggernaut suits and carrying LMG's. They get to the lift that will take them to Makarov, but a helicopter appears and destroys the lift, ruining the juggernaut suits in the process. After that you escape the lift, but you are stopped when a missile hits the building your in and you nearly fall off. Price then goes to pursue Makarov, shooting down his small army as he makes his way to the helicopter pad where Makarov is. He finds Makarov, but he is already flying off in the helicopter. But this is Captain Price, so you just jump onto the helicopter, punch out the pilots and then proceed to crash. You survive the crash and you have to crawl to a gun whilst Makarov (who also survived the crash) is limping towards it. You nearly get to the gun, but Makarov stamps it out of your hands. But then Yuri, who we assumed was dead comes back and shoots Makarov. But Makarov shoots and kills Yuri. You then grapple Makarov onto the floor and start punching him. Since you are on the glass roof of the hotel, you tie a rope around Makarov's neck and when the roof eventually breaks you fall down, survive and watch as Makarov get's hanged. Price then pulls out a cigar and lights up. The credits roll.

So, what did you think of the ending?

Personally, I thought it tied up ALL loose ends. I really cant see how they can make a Modern Warfare 4.

The ending was all QTE's. Why couldn't I shoot the chopper down? Why couldn't I snipe the pilot and then stab Makarov after the bird crashes into the roof? To answer your q, yes it ends the MW series but don't think that wont stop them from making COD: Future Warfare.

I thought that it was pretty good, not to mention rather satisfying.

I thought that the last mission was fun, da. Playing as a juggernaut was cool, though it could have been lengthier.

The campaign in general was shit, though. And far, far too short. Not worth the money at all, especially with the tacked-on multiplayer (in the sense that they just tacked on the multiplayer from MW2 with an extra couple perks).

I really liked it. Once upon a time I would have complained at the overuse of QTEs, but they're better than nothing. It was satisfying, it looked awesome, Price was completely OTT, and they tied up everything. Yeah, I liked it.

Well it really tied up[/i] everything.

However, that doesn't excuse the fact that Kamarov not only got a facial change, but also a voice change and was given a shitty part in the story along with a shitty death.

Especially after all he did in MW1.
