Total Biscuit had a mailbox question yesterday 7/6/10 basically slating MW3 and being the objective person he always raves on that he is, decided to agree that everyone shouldn't bother. I'm not a CoD fanboy, I don't like Black Ops, I don't like WaW and at times I find MW2 to be the most frustrating game concieved, however I was intensely good at CoD4 (At one point 400th in the world on the XBL leaderboards) although since the release of WaW and onwards my skill has dropped immensely.
Anyway back to my point, I think it's unfair that a reviewer or gaming personality gives out their opinion and you see hordes of mindless sheep following their every word, without having the intelligence to craft their own opinion. My opinion is that CoD is fun, frustrating at times yes, but fun most of the time and that's why I play it and probably why is sells so well.
Gaming is subjective, we all have our own likes and dislikes and it's a shame I feel that MW3 already has this stigma attatched to it, that it's a game for morons, fanboys and people who put their PSN or Gamertags as things like 1337G4M3RXOXO and shout things like noob and pwn'd every two seconds. It's ironic that the people who are denouncing MW3 as such a game are (for the most part in my opinion) fanboys themselves, fanboys of bandwagons (This one being the CoD sucks and Battlefield can do no wrong!) who like to shout noob and pwn'd at anyone who may be trying to form their own objective opinion. The game isn't out yet and I'll be buying it, partly to see if I can ever regain my lost talent, partly to see what happens to Soap & Price but mostly because it's a game I enjoy and if that's such a crime then lock me up and throw away the key. At least until the release date
.
An Example of nonobjective opinion :
The only people who are going to buy MW3 are the cod fanboys. Anyone who is new to video games and gets MW3 will probably think its horrible. Ever since cod4 all they have done is improve the graphics and make a new storyline. That's it, the gameplay is exactly the same and their still using the same engine since cod4. Its just sad that a lot of people don't realise that they are just being miles for their money at this point.

@ZaRdRoNiX1 I doubt this, there is a reason the MW franchise is the biggest selling videogame franchise in recent years, I'll concede the games can get frustrating but there is nothing bad about them, perhaps the people who play them have a bad attitude yes but the games are fun, simple to play and allow you to play with friends or randoms as a team. The game is good, the gameplay is well liked hence it sells. And thats what developers do, the improve aesthetics and adapt storylines (No? See every "new" Zelda game released.)
(My reponse)
