As someone who has been a pretty longstanding fan of CoD (A fan, mind you. NOT a fanboy.), I've tended to notice a trend with the more recent games. Specifically, killstreaks always being annoying as hell. In terms of multiplayer, MW2 has always been my favorite because of the Barebones playlists. Especially because the 400 or so people who still play Barebones objective hardly, if ever, do stuff like noob-tubing and quickscoping.
With MW3 released today I was wondering, can anyone who has it confirm whether or not it has a barebones playlist, and if so is it an actually good one or a set of god-awful mutations like Black Ops had? I'm already seriously considering buying it since spec-ops looks great, and the campaign is about twice as long as the BLOP's (17 levels total), but I really want to know if I'm actually going to have a chance to enjoy the new weapon leveling mechanic without being blown to pieces by an AC-130 every other game.
