Ok, so I'm having a weird problem with my 360. Whenever I pop my Modern Warfare 2 disk in, it takes some.....coercing to actually work. At first, it won't even recognize that the disk is there (it'll try to read it, then say "Open Tray" as if there wasn't a disk in). After taking out the disk and restarting, it will read the disk, but try to play it as if it were a DVD (little video pops up saying "to play this disk, put it in an Xbox 360 console" (to which I start yelling "IT IS IN A F%$*ING 360")). Do it again, and it'll read as a game, but the "this disk is unreadable" popup shows up. Try again, and it'll start loading (get to the Activision and Infinity Ward screens, sometimes even to the start menu), then say that the disk is unreadable. Try one more time, and it'll actually work, and I can start playing. The weird thing is, it doesn't seem to be an issue with either the console or the disk. The disk is immaculate, no major scratches or anything, and has worked without issues on my friends' consoles. So it's a problem with my 360, right? Well, that would seem to be the case, except for the fact that I can play every other game in my collection without any similar issues.
So have any other 360 owners experienced anything like this, where one, and only one game doesn't seem to want to work on your console? Was there anything that you did that fixed it, did it just stop happening after a while, or am I just going to have to deal with it? And could there be any actual reason this is happening, or does my 360 just not like MW2.
