Ok. I'm going to explain what I found out upon visiting a much better hospital than the one in my town. What they thought was a Brown Recluse bite was, in fact, not one. I eventually found out that it WAS in fact a spider bite, but not such a venomous one. The numbness of the arm was apparently an allergic reaction.

Oh and "props" to whoever thought I was trolling, or stupid enough to go online instead. I have rules in my home: do not use the phone when home alone is one. I don't trust search engines, so I just decided "Hell, might as well use the site I have open right now. Better than a search". Alright?

And yes, I am bloody 14, and yes I'm aware I don't look it.

No offense, but the "do not use phone" rule is pretty stupid.

Ask you parents what the fuck you're supposed to do if a fire starts, for example. Or if someone breaks in. Walk to the nearest police station/fire department?

Yea, I know the rule is rather dumb, but as I tend to rack up bills pretty fast, they don't trust me.

I realise that your parents probably gave you the rule of not using the phone when alone for many reasons, but does that include calling a doctor? Surely they'd allow you to seek help if you needed it?

I'm sorry, but the "Don't use the phone" rule is a bit dumb. Word of advice...Emergencies always, ALWAYS, trump parental orders...no exceptions.

And even if there was some kind of block on the phone, then go to a neighbour; there's bound to be one that'd drive you to a doctor in future. End of the day, if you lose feeling or get bad pains in any part of your body you need a doctor or there's a chance you could die. It's only a chance, but not one worth risking.
