mine randomly opens toshiba movie software which blacks the screen out while it loads so it looks like my computer is about to turn off.
at my own fault, i once had to restore it. i was trying to make it look like OS X, and was succeeding. i had the dock, the status bar, the red/yellow/green buttons on the left side of windows, and my cursor (and everything that it could possibly look like) was set up like on OS X. i ran into trouble, however, when i went to change the buttons in windows file explorer from the default round arrows to the blocky silver ones in OS X. to do that, i had to go into system files and rename a file and replace it with another one i had to add in. I did it and went to reboot my computer so it would take effect. as it was coming back on, i got an error. luckily, i had a system restore point set up before i started.
and from that, i learned to never mess with system files (or try to make it look weird).
