So... with all the games EA has announced, something hit me right in the face. Mirror's Edge 2, TitanFall(If it's confirmed on PC), BattleField 4(Lets be honest, the MP looks really promising) and Dragon Age 3(I have an eye on it but I'm not yet convinced). If you are a PC user... will you be forced to use Origin to buy these games? I don't want to download ANOTHER online distribution system, I can barely tolerate Steam now.

Gawd. I get the feeling that some people(Definitely not me. No sir. I'm an honest man.) will use this as an excuse to pirate the games.

Escapists, what are your feelings about this?

Capacha: No means no.
...Xbox.

Probably. And just like with most all the other DRM measures it won't mean anything.

If anything origin is less of a pain in the ass than steam. It's much more responsive and has better download speeds.

I know how you feel, but I originally used it because of Mass Effect 3 but got more games on sales (which are rare on Origin) later. It's worth mentioning that you can get retail bought EA games to your Origin account - including games that came out before Origin was released.
It's doesn't have the functionality of Steam but it works well.

Looks like your choices are either to get them on Origin, get them on a console, or not get them at all. Make your choice and vote with your wallet.

Well half of them are singleplayer games, so you can always just download a crack to be able to play them without Origin.
