Ive found that on my right hand, my mouse hand, I have to be carful with my index finger and middle finger's with repetative strain injury. This is especially common if you use your index finger to both left click and scroll with a mouse wheel. If this sound like you, then you need to ease of the gaming for a little bit. Maybe a week or two to give them a rest. Try not to use a computer at all (might not be possible). When you come back, start alternating what fingers you use to click. If your just browsing the web where speed doesnt matter, use your ring finger to click and mouse wheel for a bit. when your gaming, try to learn to mouse scroll with your middle finger to reduce the load on your index finger.Trezu said:Okay so i played games for a long time but recently my fingers have started to hurt they look fine there not swollen they just hurt a bit should i be concerned
and has this ever happened to you from gameing?
It's too late for you now. You should call the morgue.MagicMouse said:No.
But I have something 100 times more intense and dangerous and worrisome that happened. I fell while walking, and SCRAPED MY KNEE! It stings really bad and I don't know if I should go to the hospital or not.
Oh don't remind me of tendonitis. I used to play bass guitar in a band when I was (much) younger. I played so much that I had a major bout of tendonitis. Had to wear a brace on each hand and was completely incapable for a couple of weeks of doing anything that involved delicate movements of the fingers.Omikron009 said:I once had tendonitis for a few weeks because I was typing too much. It was much more painful than a slight finger ache, though. I wouldn't worry.
You went walking?? Like, outside?!? You should have know something bad would happen.MagicMouse said:No.
