The most important thing, at this point, is that you remember that you are still exactly the same person as you were before. Whatever anyone might say, you are not suddenly 'gay' or 'bisexual' unless you choose to commit yourself to being those things, it's something you have the luxury of deciding for yourself in your own time, not something anyone else should be able to tell you. Nothing about you has or must change unless you want it to.

Well, I'm a girl, but if I had an enjoyable kiss with another girl, I don't think that would mean I'm a lesbian right away. That just means they're a great kisser. If I'm understanding the problem correctly, just be cool. As others have said, it doesn't have to change you if you don't want to. Although it seems very likely you're at least bisexual.

I should note to you this is coming from a fourteen-year-old girl who's never kissed any other human being*, let alone gone on a date with one.

*One could say my cat stole my first kiss, but I'm pretty sure Noche didn't understand the concept of kissing.

I have some knowledge of the (american) gay scene, and for future refference STAY OUT OF GAY BARS. they're very very bad places. especially since you're still confused, if you are gay/bi they'll just drive you to repression, those places are horrible.

You must have some nice places. Maybe if you live somewhere really horrible where people have to be very repressed it might be like that, but your major urban areas must be just as accepting as ours, and our gay bars are lovely.

Then again, you do seem to have a different drinking culture, so maybe that's the culprit.

Couldn't agree more there; it's only a big deal if YOU make a big deal out of it, Personally i've never seen the big issue if i ever ended up falling for a guy / girl, To me it's love and love is blind, that's the way it goes. It's one of the reasons i can't stand labelling people under a sexuality; it's almost as though each one has its own prerequisite stereotypes, Never label yourself under one; you fall for who you fall for, and it doesnt make you gay, straight or Bi, it makes you human.

It might not be the easiest route, but I've learned that you'll never really be happy by denying a part of yourself because other people (even those important to you) might not be wholly accepting of it at first.

Be glad your first kiss was (relatively) sober, and from someone you liked. That's fairly fortunate for you.

It's quite a lovely first kiss really. I would be very envious, were I not in a relationship with a great guy myself.

But yes, my advice is that you pursue this gentleman and go have some fun. Of course, provided it won't cause any family problems; getting kicked out of house or abused at a young age for being gay or bisexual isn't pleasant.

heh yeah, tell me about it. i knew a gay Marine Captain that served in the 80s. he said that there when he served it was ALOT harder to have any sort of serious relationship. but that god for progressive times.
