So, after long gaming binges, what do you stop to realize has nearly fallen off due to the cold?

My hands are always frozen whenever I play on the computer, and sometimes even on consoles if I play too long.

What happens to you when your sitting down playing some games or staring at your computer screen?

*Excuse me while I go thaw my hands*

This always happens to me as well, I have no idea why, it's only my hands that go cold as well which is rather odd... Also when gaming on console for long periods of time +8 hours the next day my arms feel like lead weights.

You probably have bad circulation, I get it sometimes, but just in two of my fingers, and then I get pins and needles...

Yes, constantly. Not just when I'm playing games, right now I'm occasionally posting on The Escapist, using my computer to play music and read Dune, and my hands are practically numb.

It makes sense why, I have no heating on my room, hence my extremities feel like lumps of ice. Then again, reading is the most fun with good music on, so I won't go down to the living room.

To get rid of your hand problem (or feet if you sometimes get that like me) is soak them in a hot tub of water for at least 10 minutes prior to playing. It warms the meat and more importantly loosens the blood vessels allowing blood to flow more easily. I do that and I can play all night without them getting cold agian.
Perhaps that works if it's just your circulation that's frelled up, but if the room is simply really cold, doing that only makes it worse. Widening the blood vessels means the blood will indeed flow more easily through your hands/feet, but that in term means that the blood will loose it's warmth to the colder air around you, dropping your core temperature. Your blood vessels shrink for a reason when it's cold, and get wide when you've just exercised really hard or something.
