A few days ago, I watched a movie called Primer. Decent acting, decent cinematography, etc. But the plot, holy shit, the plot. This movie is one of the most confusing movies I have seen. The condensed version is this: Abe and Aaron accidentally create a time machine which they use to make money on the stock market, however the mechanics of the machine create alternate universes. The plot jumps back and forth between timelines, they put time machines INSIDE time machines, time loops within loops, loop back before other loops to stop a future loop. It's completely fascinating, but painful. I started getting a headache just trying to wrap my head around it. I'll include a graphical version of the plot that helped me figure out what was going on.
