My ipod won't show up my computer. It's not in My Computer and it's not in itunes when i plug it in... It's an ipod nano 5th gen and i have a toshiba laptop. I've tried different usb ports, i've tried resting my ipod(holding the menu and middle button), i've tried restarting my laptop and i've downloaded the newest itunes.
The only place i can find it is in devices and printers (control Panel) and i tried trouble shooting but it says there is nothing wrong. When i plug it in there is a beep (like normal) and my ipod says connected and has the picture of the cord. It doesn't open itunes and when i open itunes it doesn't appear in itunes. It does sync to other computers though but i really don't want to put my music on my other computer just to sync my ipod. Like i said it's not in my computer. It is installed on the computer. I read the user manual and it does help. What should i do???
And the hold button isn't on... (someone asked me that when i told them about my problem. I don't see how it makes a difference... oh and it's fully charged.)
