Last week I was offered a job to coach last week by a hockey camp called the Rick Heinz Goalie School. I was attending the camp when the head instructor approached me on the 4th day of camp and told me to write a resume. I did so and he said call him next summer for the job. I was really excited when I was offered the job but this camp travels all around the U.S. and Canada. Now mind you I'm 15 and a job like this comes once in a lifetime. Im wondering if I should travel with them and coach or just help out with the camp when it comes to my town.

I just want to see what my fellow escapists think.

Travel with them, trust me, you will get to see places and people you might otherwise never have seen, trust me, you will regret it if you do not.

Do it, you might even escape the frozen northern wastes of America's hat.

I second this. Live life while you can. You may never get another chance like this.

Does it interfere too much with your school? That should be the main concern.

If you really like the people at the camp, and you're not the kind of person who freaks out when they're away from home for more than a week, I'd say to go for it! If it will cause you a lot of stress to travel with them, you should consider if it's really worth it. Do remember that you probably won't get to do something like this again.

This may sound like a joke but, are you sure this guy Isn't some word pedo' or something? If you really trust these people you're travling with then by all means, take the job.
He teaches the camp himself along with other instructors whose ages range from 17 to 30 so hes not. Plus he has a wife and kids.

Pending any really really urgent business at home, get on the road and go with them. Good experiences and plenty of fun you'll never forget.

You should make this a poll so we can all vote "Go!"
I'd vote 'No', at least until I get some more details on what the hell your doing, this seems like an awesome way to find out you hate being cramped up in a bus with 30 other people you are rapidly growing to hate. This may or may not be based on knowing some people who do things like this. If the wanderlust is on you, however, this isn't the worst way you can get rid of it.

Definately go. School is for learning but you can always learn on the road and get a GED. Plus if you are a good enough coach to already have a job take it.

Definitely go, especially if it's something you want to do as a career. It will either show you that it's not for you, or more hopefully it'll give you invaluable experience, both in the coaching and general life experience, and more importantly contacts which can help you elevate yourself in the world of hockey coaching.

I've got to say, that your education should be your primary concern, but being 15 you won't listen anyways, so go for it. I've been around the world, and believe me, there's nothing like experiencing another country's culture and people. Seeing how others live is probrably the most vital thing our species can do for it's own preservation.

Do it. You can always get back to school, or just go in the summer? The summer, that's it, right? You Americans and your one giant break in the school year.
Anywhom, best of luck. Hope you can look back on it without regret. Or at least a bare minimum thereof
